Miranda Fidler-Benaoudia
Principal Investigator
Dr. Fidler-Benaoudia is a cancer epidemiologist at Alberta Health Services and the University of Calgary. Her research focuses on childhood, adolescent and young adult cancers where she seeks to understand survivorship care needs and design interventions that can improve health outcomes. Outside work, she enjoys being outdoors and travelling.

Ruth Leonora Diaz
Senior Research Associate
Ruth has a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Epidemiology from the University of Calgary. She has experience conducting epidemiological analyses in mental health and chronic conditions and is interested in predictive modelling using data science and machine learning. In her spare time, Ruth enjoys hiking with her family.

Andrew Harper
Senior Research Associate
Andrew has an MSc in Statistics from Queen’s University. As a statistical associate, his work focuses primarily on conducting statistical analyses supporting the development and implementation of epidemiological and biostatistical research. His primary areas of interest currently include the study of cancer prevention, survivorship and treatment.

Charlotte Ryder-Burbidge
Research Associate
Charlotte has an MSc in Epidemiology and a passion for empowering people with evidence-based health information. As a research associate, Charlotte supports the development and execution of research related to cancer prevention and survivorship. Her previous work focused on the health of older adults and people living with neurological conditions.

Anika Morokhovich
Research Clerk
Anika is currently completing her BSc in Biology at the University of British Columbia. She is passionate about the health and well-being of others. As a Research Clerk, Anika is responsible for data abstraction and supporting the team. In her free time, she enjoys staying active and visiting with friends.

Iqra Rahamatullah
Research Clerk
Iqra completed her BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. With a passion for medical and psychosocial oncology, and a special interest in the adolescent and young adult (AYA) population, Iqra hopes to use her experience as a patient and her interest in research to improve the standard of care. Outside of research, Iqra enjoys hiking, playing basketball, and spending time with her family and friends.
